Well I got a note from one of my previous owners.
Had him give me his story when he had the car.
Pretty cool-

Hello Kelly, Good to hear from you, I'm living in
Florida now, but if you had some photos of the
old 70' to send that would be great, I still miss
the Charger, it never let me down in all the
years I owned it, I sold off most of the projects
before I left WA. but did keep a 69' Q5 Charger
to restore, its a factory 318, 3 on the tree, but
back to the 70', In 1992 I traded a 1970 Firebird
and some cash to get the Charger from a car lot
Detroit auto works, they were real jerks to deal
with!!!! the Charger was a sweet heart, drove
like new, the stuff in the car said it came from
Colorado, the 8 1/4 rear had factory 2.45 gears,
the few times I got on it, it would smoke the
tire for blocks, I did look for the build sheet
but never found it, did you try car fax for any
info on it? I had good luck and some bad luck
with the car, some jerk backed into it in a
parking lot and cracked the grill, dented the
bumper and fender and lower valance, then tried
to drive away but was caught (he was a real low
life), it was also rear ended at a red light by a
16 girl in mommys new car, the trailer hitch
saved the Charger but her car was a mess!!! when
my buddy in portland got the car the first
windshield he had installed fogged over within a
few months, so they installed another one, it
leaked bad after their lame reinstall and then
fogged over to,  great hearing about the car, JD

Cool deal. I would love to hear from the previous owner(s) of my car. I love stuff like that.

No trailor hitch anymore. the owner after jeff removed it. I wouldn't use it if it had one anyway. Not that it couldn't handle a load.

Yeah I sent him a bunch of pics. Haven't heard back yet about those but I'm sure he's going to be pretty amazed at all the money and work I've put into it since he owned it.

Hey Lizard,
This is old and beat up some, but it was on a 1969 Charger that I picked up at Detroit Auto Works for my brother back in the '80s. (Sorry Chris, no record of the VIN)

If you want it Lizard, just pm or email with your address and I will get it to you.

T/Ake care,
Barry

QuoteI want the trailer hitch!
Was it original?

The trailer hitch was a rusty JC Whitney especial welded on by a trained monkey. It was recycled.
