had a flash back & remembered seeing a couple of chargers in corvette summer had previously forgot about them i think    
i remember seeing it as a kid on video early 80s & going through frame by frame looking for chargers as i use to do ,
  i found the 68 again  thought it was gold back then but it green , cant find the other one sure that was bronze a 3 generation was a side or passenger side rear shot in traffic

I saw that movie for the first time recently.
Pretty corny but the nostalgia was good and I too stopped and rewound the scene you posted here.

On a separate note, didn't Fired up Garage or Fast and Loud have that Corvette through their shop at one stage?

  i even thought it was a kind of silly back then , bit childish even  nother one comes to mind like that is eat my dust

found the 3rd generation bronze charger , but pointing a totally differant way to what i remember! , looking at it noww roof line looks a bit odd

I remember seeing that long ago. I think that I saw it on HBO for the first time. Back in the 70s and 80s, HBO was a single channel and they'd replay the movies dozens of times a month. This is one movie that I have probably seen 20 times. It was a fun movie.
The bad guy in the Firebird...I remember noticing that the hood on it was a hybrid between a Formula and a Trans Am.
