* water pump
* thermostat

What would you advice for torque converter/cam combo?
4.10 gears with sure grip would be good? Ain't doing +250 miles trips.
What can I expect of this set up?

Awful spendy dontcha think? I can buy a rebuilt balanced performance 440 long block in my area for $2,600 with a 3-year warranty. And 4:10s are pretty worthless for anything but drag racing aren't they?

CB

shoot...
I get this price from a shop.

I hoped that someone tells me this is way to much and advice me to get one rebuild in the US.
Will be cheaper anyway. Only shipping it to Europe will be high.

Bull: you got a PM

I would want cam specs & lose the intake before spending that
I could build you one if you want

cudaken

 I would want more detail's before I spent that kind of money. You like in the UK right CB?

I did some wheeling and dealing on mine and have $6000.00 in the long block and pretty much all the best name brands and nothing stock.

If you can afford it have Neil build you a engine.

As far as the 4.10's and the Torque cam, bad idea. You will be threw the power band so fast then just making noise and fall on your face's. Mini's will be blowing by you like your where sitting still.

I like 3.23's for a mild cam car. Keep's you in your power band.
