You know, this thread could get real ugly ,real fast. All I'm gonna say about it is :

With all the awful, terrible things happining around our country to our kids & our family's, these people are calling on the Joint Terrorism Task Force because of Tainted muffins. The people in control are out of control.

I'm not so sure this was nuts.  Yeah it was a bit of an over-reaction, but maybe not a huge over-reaction.

It sounds like the Terrorism people didn't get involved because of "pot-laced muffins."  They got involved because of muffins that had been poisoned with an undetermined substance, which they LATER determined was nothing worse than weed. 

Suppose they'd done nothing, and the muffins turned out to be laced with Anthrax, or Bird Flu or something . . . you can bet we'd all be hopping mad about the government's "incompetence."

Not too much of an overreaction, actually, in this day and age. A shame it is, but is is our reality.
