Wow! That's some major work you've put in there.
Makes me appreciate how spoilt I was with a fairly straight. rust free car to start off with.

A bit more of a project than I thought but worth it. I went off the wall engine wise. A 64 426 with a 69 six pack.

Thanks! I am NO KEEPAT lol. (Wish I had that talent) But I have built or restored a lot of cars . About 50 years as a gearhead. I takes time and patience. This car should have been on the road a year ago. I just stopped. I got burnt out so I built a chopper  and I am not a motorcycle person. But needed something different. I probably will never drive that thing but it is fun to drink beer and look at it.

I got that handle years ago. I had a friend that said I didn't just dream about cars you chase them down. I used to get my trailer on time off and just take off looking for cars. I had 26 of them. Not anymore. The chopper is cool I don't know if it would be right to post a picture on a Charger site. Its a serous bike. 160 HP S&S with all the hotrod parts and a 6 speed transmission.

I had a 1977 AMF Low Rider.  The bike HD used to buy back from AMF.  Also what putts are modeled after today.  Flat bars, spoke wheels, etc.  My Mom bought it for my Dad for his birthday and I bought it from him for what she paid.
It was an original 3700 mile bike.

Folks back home, where I am now, offered me $7-$8k and laughed at me for what I wanted.  I put it on ebay with a 426 Hemi crate motor price, $13,600 reserve in mind.  It hit reserve and all of a sudden I was thinking 472 since local dealer had one.  It went over that and all of a sudden I had a 472 Hemi with money to convert.

My Father was a Biker, lol.  I instantly gained respect once I bought it, lol.  But I constantly worried about 4 wheelers, cars, at intersections.


Once I had it shipped to the nw, it sat behind my 70 SuperB440-6 car.  I rode it from the HD shop to the house and that was it.

It went to a collector in Japan and Im pretty sure his place was destroyed with that tsunami?


I've sold many original pieces of the Low Rider to keepat.  Id like to think I took care of him on price so Idgaf what the putt riders think.  Put up or shut up, lol!

 I have taken it to a show. But I have maybe rode it 5 miles down the road. My pop was a biker as well. I just never really got into it. This thing has so much power it is scary. 160 hp . I bought most of the parts from a chopper shop. It was really easy as most parts are set up to work on most frames.

Never forget the first time getting on it outta first and hitting 2nd and it squirreled on me.  I couldn't believe such a big bike would do that, lol.
I wasn't a rider, obviously, so it was pure adrenaline, lol.
