Tire pressure around the world?

  Is "P.S.I." a universal thing for tires or is there some other measurement?    We figured out fractions (1/4-1/2-3/8 and so on.) were universal for socket/drive wrenches all over the world and there are so many other measurements in use.

Bar (barometric) or kPa (kilopascal) is used in some parts of the world.
