68 Charger wheel well color

I have a 68 Charger getting ready to go to paint and wondering if I should paint the wheel wells QQ1 blue like the body or black. I'm afraid if I paint them the body color they will stick out too much. I'm not using any undercoating so the color will matter. Does anybody know how they came from the factory?

 as far as i know   i await to be corrected
 even with out the extra amount of undercoating option  code 579= 1968 / J55 =1969 & 1970,
the rear wheel wells were almost fully undercoated , but the fronts  with a none undercoated car almost always had some kind of pattern with the  undercoat which left  around the shock tower body color going diagonally down through the access holes if that makes sence  ... the pattern candeviate from  year  & assembly plant & what ever guy was doing at the time to a greater or lesser extent,  need to look at as many original cars as possible  then judge etc unless you have got traces / know where your cars under coat was sprayed

They did get a pass of sound deadener which many people incorrectly call undercoating.
The sound deadener was there to silence noises from tiny rocks and debris that get kicked up when driving, even on paved roads. The rear wheel houses got this treatment along with the front. On cars that were optioned with undercoating, it went further to the floorboards between the firewall and the axle hump.

Oh right  ! i always thought when factory undercoating was ordered , "they" the factory sprayed the same gear every where ( factory  sound deadner) as per what you have mentioned above ! i asumed / thought if  the undercoating was dealer ordered applied it was different thinner stuff ,  
think im guilty of getting the two mixed up & causing confusion

I used sprayable seam sealer. Which is also paintable. Roger my BM put several coats to build up the surface to absorb the rock/road debris impacts. Did the inside tops front fenders and rear wheel wells. Turned real nice I figure. Nice texture. Oops sorry for the large pics.

I have also seen a few that got barely a spritz of the sound deadener. It is possible though that those may have been replacement fenders installed at some hack body shop....

Who is that Question too? if your talking to me the Fenders I posted came off a Car that was 100% Rust Free & all Original Paint so no Replacements here. You must be talking about the other Guys Fenders

I might not have enough coverage on the inside of my front fenders but will address that issue if it warrants it.  Would be a relatively easy fix in there.

Read this again. If you still don't understand then you are not too bright.
I never mentioned you or anyone specific. I've seen fenders of all sorts of cars in wrecking yards, at swap meets, on actual cars, etc.

Pretty sure this is what Chrysler used: https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40071599/  Move the SCHUTZ gun slower or faster for sound or under coat.

Yep looks like the stuff. Might try that if I need to do the inside of my front fenders if need be. The Inside of my fenders seem unprotected. Not worried about the rear wheel wells.  I should have went to the wheel lip I'm thinking now. Wait and see. And I mean WAIT lol Be awhile yet.

Not cheap that's for sure $101 Cdn a bottle on Amazon.ca and you read the reviews and some guy used EIGHTEEN bottles to undercoat his trailer..

Christ...get some help about your self esteem issues. "Those" were in reference to fenders that I have seen personally.
I've never been anywhere near you or any car that you have worked on so how the fuck am I able to see your work? I've been in California most of my life.
Seriously, if you see an insult, it is YOUR insecurities in full display. I never made any mention of you.
Guess what? There ARE other body and paint shops outside of where YOU are. Some of them do excellent work. SOME do not. Have you been to California? I have never been to Warren Michigan.
I don't use sneaky tactics to insult people. I do it directly. The pictures of the work you have posted always looks decent. If I thought that you did shit work, I'd call you out on it.
