Steering collar retaining pin

Just put my steering column in with new kit. I have all the presets/measurements done and support bolts torqued to spec. Can anyone tell me where that little pin goes into...I could not see a location for it.

What pin are you refering to?

Without seeing it I can't be sure but I think the pin you are talking about goes into the coupler body to keep it from coming apart after you get it all together.

Look at the coupler body, there should be a matching hole near the seal end.  Just drive the pin in flush.
