it sucks when some one parts out a solid car,and when its because the are so greedy that they only see it as a pile of parts it makes it worse.id like to tell that yugo guy to go f himself, but i promissed troy id behave :nana:

Agreed that parting out a solid car sucks,  but what if that so called greed is providing the $$$ to pay the mortgage, keep the electricity on, and feed your kids. :scratchchin: :scratchchin: Its something to think about. If placed in that predicament, I know what i would do. I just wouldn`t advertise what i was doing.  :Twocents:

The Ghoul

its mine, I can do what ever I want with it. If you dissagree, give me what I want for it.
life tends to be alot easier when you dont care about what others think of what your doing..... much like driving in traffic  :icon_smile_big:

Twilt...Carcass?  I find carcass' all day.  I can drive to Detroit to find those.

I would want the car complete.
I do have a 71 440 matching numbers gunmetal R/T for trade? Interest?

Ok let's start a new thread that Twilt's going to cut up a 72 Rallye and save all the numbers.  That should be interesting. Nah, I was just kidding and so was Twilt.  I hope!

MOPARHOUND!

$760.00 for the hideaway setup  :o .

Looks like the setup in the shed is getting a new home.

$600.00 for rear bumper/brackets/bolts/tag bracket/wiring/complete R/T taillights is a good selling price in todays market.

The interior auction was removed from ebay, auction # no longer valid.

Looks like several more auctions have started up in the mean time for other pieces off it.

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

MOPARHOUND!

Looks like were down to auctioning of a pretty big hunk of carcass, as they got tired of pulling parts:

Bulge hood, disc brakes, 4.30 rear would be good scores.

terrible one

Hah, good luck getting $4,000 out of it. Man, that was such a nice car (besides the carpet and dash  :icon_smile_dead:)

Darn, thiis post is like herpes. It just keeps coming back.  I couldnt tell for sure in the pic... is that a 71 R/T hood minus insert or is it a power bulge with a hole cut in it?
Regardless............ at least the car hasnt been hacked into peices and is still fixable..  he did what he had to do moneywise without killing the car. It would be a good project for someone with a nice stash of parts. worth $4k? not to me

Well, 2 hours to go, and the next bid will meet reserve it says.

Current bid is at $2475.

Tick.....tick.....tick........

UPDATE:

Sold for $2,700.00.

So....did we do better spending all the time and effort to disamantle, put up for auction, package/ship/travel to shipper....versus......selling it complete?
