Hi,

1. I would ask for help in identifying parts what I found in trunk in my Charger 73 (318engine/automatic).
What could it be?

2. Second question: I have broken my steering column connector(Steering Coupler/hockey disc?) and I am looking for a replacement the correct one.

3. I'm looking Windshield Trim Molding Clips for front and end glass... there are several types on ebay. Can I ask for advise?

4. Last question: can someone recommend me one manual/documentation for charger 73 (about engine/schematics/parts etc)?

Thanks
Adam

About question number 2 - I read that people cope by buying a normal hockey puck and just drill it

Nacho-RT74

about 1: spacer, usually used to remove the fan clust and use a direct drive fan setup

about 2: Yes... several options.

-Hockey puck drilled to fit in there as you mentioned and usually the most popular.
-Bouchillon coupler, but is made nowdays in aluminium, not anymore made for the isolation purpouse
-a stack of regular rag joints from other cars ( 74s used a single rag joint ).
-Range Rover coupler, which has been told it fits perfect.

some sellers got the Original coupler... being sold on $200-300 rate, because is NOS.

about 3: there are several specifi Mopar parts shops able to provide those if you search them for the car. Of course they are a bit expensive than getting from any regular shop, but if you don't have the sample, is better go for the sure. I use to go to paint shops which normally gets a board/exposer with all models available shown there and get the closer to my car I can get, having the original on hands. Sometimes is even the same one.

about 4: Factory service manual available as reprint and CDROM... several sellers, Can be found on ebay and auto restorer shops. You can find them used too ( I got it used ). I think MyMopar got it too so you can download it for free. But I preffer to pay for the book ( personal prefference )

I allways forgett Bob got lot of 73 stuff already uploaded on his website! LOL. But since not everyone searchs specifically 73 info, my mind allways jumps out straight to MyMopar as the source when somebody asks

However at this moment MyMopar website is getting somehow updated or modified and their manuals section is not working at this time.

BTW! Just paid attention on your coupler setup, and it seems somebody in the past already replaced the stock assembly for a single rag joint piece. And maybe lost the heating protection shield from the stock assembly. Wondering about the steering column lenght now. I guess the collapsing column safety pins where already broken out to reach the mounting point using the thin rag joint.

That OR the column coupler "cardan" assembly/shaft is being pulled out. That is not good for the assembly, loosing travel into the coupler housing.

The 73 coupler deal ( which is a one year only setup on B bodies ) has being largely discussed on several boards, also here, but I find this thread the more "informational"
