how bad is it to have my oil level a little bit above the full line? the rear of my car is up higher then stock and the front is a little lower i think, probabely because of soft torsion bars. so on a level streat i always put enough oil in to make it just above the full line. am i in danger of blowing a seal or gasket? or could this cause oil to pass the valve seals at all?

It wont hurt anything as long as it is just above the mark I reckon.  The problems begin to ensue when you have it 1/4" or 1/2" above the line :D :D

Just make sure that you have at least 5 1/2 quarts of oil in your engine when you change it (dependent on your oil pan).

the problem with overfilling is windage , if the crank is hitting th eoil it will foam up & trap air & air is terrible to try to compress into the opil passages & doesn`t lubricate well at all
as siad above you would have to be 1/2 qt or more overfull to cause a problem though
