That KT5 sienna metallic car is an A77 spring special car. KT5 came out in the spring of 74 with the celebrity window, and some A77 specific options...they were in the same brochure. I've talked about the A77 package several times on the old forum. Less than 1000 A77s believed to have been ordered.

Not to Ding Galen unnecessarily, but in reading his column in MCG since his introduction I have never seen him comment on 3rd Gen charger.
Maybe I missed it ?  I know I know he is the expert.   Just saying though........

The code might be M07, I see the code on the sheet but can't read what it says. I know I looked it up before and found it was something different, but think it was listed as M07 in dealer literature.

M07 is the code for quarter window louvers/opera window.  On the 72-74 build sheet it is shown as M0-  louvers.  M07 probably is the code for the opera window in 1974.

Interestingly, the build sheet for my old '73 SE (which had louvers) doesn't list any code in the M0- louvers space.

probably because the louvers were standard on the SE

Now I'll talk about those rare packages or whatever you calls, but the fact were rare models assemblied and optioned. They DO EXIST on Mopar catalogs:

First one that cames on my mind, however I don't have a pic of it, is a very rare SE with roll down quarter windows only available on 73. This model is exactly that, a mixed WP29 and WH23 model with WP29 on VIN. This model cames with all SE package: interior brougham package, big rocker molding, chromed edges on tail lenses and grilles, and also chromed tail lights housings. SEs badges on hood and C pillars. From the WH23 did take the roll down quarter glasses with all its hardware, inner and outer trim and also "HALO" vinyl top. About   this model, were sold en ebay two of those on 2003. Badly I did't saved pics.

I found those of RARE SE rolling down quarter windows... I have seen thsi one in the past but didn't remmeber where... now I found on another gallery... here is:

shouldn't that have wheel well stainless too?..
great stuff!

Nacho-RT74

I guess so, specially with fenders/hood/quarter ends and trunk lips molds, but maybe owner remove then.

Obviouslly the car have been painted and "personalized", since bumper fillers were painted black

I think thats the rare how to make your Charger, look like a mid seventies Ford option. If you keep a vinal top on the car, than it should not be too differcult to repair.

Here's my plain jane base '74 Charger with the square opera window and plain hub caps.  All origainal as I bought her from the original owner in'78.  Still have her too.  The photo comes from better days of course.  She is in need of help now as time and salt have taken their toll.  But I hope to get her looking like this again one day.

I had one of the 74 Dodge Charger "Spring Editions" back in the 80's.
It had a fixed Port not a louvers that were removed.
There was a Celebrity Package that also used this port and there were 73 SE packages that used this port also.

I would like to find some that are in good shape.

Nacho-RT74

recently we learnt not every Opera window is a Spring Special and not every Spring special got that opera window. That was an optional Window available for any model by 74 and was coded as M07 on Fender Tag.

we never have heard about any 73 getting that finish on quarter glass.

And recently I found there was a 73 Spring Special model too, BUT didn't have this option. It got however the brand new Aztec interior, which it was part of the Spring Special Package by 73, but optional on any model by 74

AAAAAND, welcome to the board.
