I added a fuel vapor separator after the fuel pump and then ran a 1/4 inch return line back to the tank for the vapor.  Not sure if it will help much as I haven't been able to drive it lately because I'm working on other stuff.

I have a 440 based 493 and since I am using the Edelbrock Performer RPM under a stock hood, there was no room to use a carburetor spacer.
I had vapor lock off and on until I switched a few things.
First, I went with a higher volume Carter Fuel Pump that ran at about 10-11 psi. I put in an Aeromotive regulator that limits pressure to 7 psi. Anything over that runs back to the tank.
In short, the fuel either gets used or goes back to the tank. It doesn't sit and heat up.
THIS made all the difference. I have driven in 110 degree weather and the car runs as if it is 60 degrees outside.

I also battled vapor lock on my Charger. I am running an electric fuel pump on my car, mounted low by the tank. I ended up just buying a thermal sleeve for the areas of the fuel line that go near the exhaust and near the carbs and installing a return line back to the tank 1/4 line. That solved my issue, but I think if I just plumbed the lines better, like the factory did,  it would have been fine but I had them really close to the intake/exhaust.  :Twocents:

Can you describe your current setup? Bone stock? Modified at all and how?
