Hello all just wondering are the a/c units in a 1969 charger have an automatic temp control unit as my parts book has listings for with and without

No, not usually refereed to as such.  I believe that was the C body control system.  The 68-68 B bodies heater valve does have a capillary tube which opens the valve slightly if the discharge air drops to an excessively low temperature, like 32-38* air temp.    - This means the evaporator is already below freezing.
