Does anyone know where I might could find a Red Pie Tin for a 1968 440 Magnum? All of the usual places are back ordered with no estimated time of when they might be in stock. I checked with Summit Racing, Classic Industries, and Year One.
Thanks,
Kevin

You know you are vintage when someone says, "Back in the day", and you can dispute their facts.

Thanks, National Moparts has them in stock. They were the only place I have found these.

Can one of you knowledgeable types let me know which pie tin I'd use on an April 1968 Charger 383 four barrel?  According to National Moparts, Dodge used the "383 Magnum" term, while Plymouth used the "383 Four Barrel" term.  According to other things I've read, the 383 wasn't called a Magnum in 1968, so I should use the Four Barrel one?  Or maybe there was no pie tin at all on this model originally?

This is very important, obviously.   :icon_smile_wink:

If it is a H code 68 Charger, my research says it has the unsilenced air cleaner after beginning of Jan 68? and no pie tin? My 68 was original in almost all ways and it didn't have a pie tin, just the unsilenced air cleaner. I asked the original owner about it and he said he didn't ever remember it having one.

Of course at shows, it sports a 383 four barrel pie tin to try and cut down on the number of people asking me what engine my car has, but it does little good :).
