Guy doing my interior is using interior paint from Year One on my
Brand new Urethane Armrest pads
It's flaking off. its fine as long as he doesn't
touch them.
Anyone having that problem??
Do I need some kind of prep spray????

not sure what brand Year One offers but I had great results with SEM products. I used their system which included using their Vinyl prep prior to applying the SEM paint.

My guess is that the pads were not fully clean prior to spraying? just a thought.

Some interior color change. I lightly went over the panels with a scotchbrite pad on some of the scratches and followed the SEM procedure, here are some of the results:

From what I heard the repros cannot be painted, at all. Either get them in the correct color or find good used ones.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

They must be super clean with detergent and water. Use a good prep spray. Then use a good adhesion promoter. Finally the interior paint. That should do it.
