Value of 68 Charger for insurance purposes

I recently gave my son our 1968 Charger.  I had it insured for an agreed upon value for $45,000.  Wondering what you all would value it at now days...

1968 Charger
383 C.I.
4- BBL carb
4- speed

I like that color. Reminds me of one I should have bought. I could have bought a yellow with black bumble bee stripe 68 r/t 440 auto car that was a good original car at a farm auction for $1,800 back in 1997. Times sure have changed. I like your car. Should be worth $50-$60K pretty easily.

Nice car. I agree with everyone else. Up the coverage if they agree. My red Charger is at 60K, my Challenger is at 50K, I even have 15K on my other probject Charger and 5K on my Road Runner projects just case.

Hagerty classic car value calculator is a pretty good source to go for insurance and valuation purposes.

They have concours grade cars with your configuration at 50k and excellent condition cars at 36k. It just comes down to how much someone is willing to pay for a car whether it be a buyer or insurance company.
