69 charger,do they have much to do with the height  and stance of car,if you pull them forward toward eng?  thanks

Good question but if a person were to do that what do any of you gooroos think about moving the hole through the fraim rail an inch forward then put the shackle together would this help the spring or just cause more problems. Just curious myself also sorry to hijack your post.

Moving the shackle forward or backward should be done with some thought.

The eye of the spring needs to be directly below the shackle eye or behind it. When the spring eye is forward of the shackle eye, it is at risk of hitting the frame rail when the suspension compresses.

Short answer:  no.

Height and stance is controlled by arch and rate of the spring.
