Is this the bengal charger colour?

i found this 1969 paint chart and it specifys a bright orange under the special paint code of 999*, anyone got any more info on this? chris was telling me earleir thsi year that the only special paints ordered were rallye green and bahama yellwo for 1969 chargers, but then what colour is this?,could it be the bengal charger of 1968's special colour of orange?-MATT

looks the same color, if i remember correctly the orange used on the Bengal charger 68 could not have be ordered on a passenger vehicle. it could only be ordered on truck , so for Chrysler to paint them a none production color the dealer had to order at least 50

I think the color was a michigan dept of hiways truck color

Yes, it was a fleet color used for highway department vehicles - not a production color. Besides, they were made in 68 so why would the color show up on a 1969 color chart (and not 68)? ;)

so then that colour i put up above on that chart, how would someone get their hands on that colour if they wanted their car painted that colour, where would u get that formula?-MATT
