1969 charger 3 spd wiper linkage

So I have reinstalled a restored 3 spd wiper motor and the linkage seems off a bit with the post on the back of the motor.  I was able to get the linkage on and but run down so that the slot on the crank mates up with the motor post.   My only issue seems to be that the wiper blades now sit extremely low on the windshield.   Like against the chrome molding.    Is there an adjustment I can make somewhere?   And the wipers do work and go back to park,but again, they sit low.

Just take the wiper arms off the posts and move them around a couple notches before you put them back on

can you remove the motor from the engine bay on;y or do you have to crawl under the dash??
