I know this may sound blasphemous...but aside from the charger chase scene, it has to be one of the most boringest movies ever....

I bought, started watching it and ended up sleeping through it.

Also....So many people brag on about how great an actor that Steve McQueen was....I thought he was reserved, understated and somewhat boring as well.

Be cool if they could show it at drive-ins (if they still exists). The MoPar crowd could show in their 68 Chargers and have some sort of pre-movie car show to socialize.

Could you imagine if Keepat had his Bullitt project completed and to show up at something this? That would be awesome!!!

I looked it up in my area and there's a showing Sun Oct. 7th and Tue Oct. 9th. I'll be going for sure.

Thanks for the heads up rarefish! :2thumbs:

I am looking forward to seeing it on the big screen, the movie wasn't bad. The story was good, a guarded witness get wacked, and the crooked politicians put the pressure on the police who were supposed to protect the witness. I guess we have McQueen, the director, and the stunt coordinator for the Charger being in the film. They got together and decided that the villain vehicle needed to be something other than a Ford. They thought that there were too many Fords, and that they wanted the film to be as realistic as possible. They went out to several car dealerships looking for the perfect villain vehicle. They decided on the 68 Charger R/T. They bought two 68 Charger R/Ts,one was yellow, the other was blue, both were painted black for the film.
