68 4 Speed Pedal Reinforcement Bracket - Natural, body colour, or other?

Hi,

Just restored the 4 speed pedals and am putting them back in. My question is about the pedal reinforcement bracket that is on the firewall engine bay side...what colour should it be? Natural? Body colour? Other?

Is your dual stud bracket loose? I'm fairly certain mine was tack welded to the firewall, as we never removed it to do all body work and paint... and by the time that was all done it should have fallen out from fright alone!

Thanks...I am doing a 4 speed swap, so there was no bracket on the car. I had to order one.
