Does anyone know if a 5.7 out of an 06 charger would be a direct replacement in an 07?

Physically, they're the same. However, Chrysler has been known to change parts and sensors around year to year, so you may have to do some part swapping to make it work.  Another thing to watch out for is mds.  It's a system that deactivates 4 cyl.s when you're at cruising speed.  Some engines have it, some don't.  Do your homework on your engines to know for sure.

06 and 07 both have mds. As long as its a later build 06 and has all coils, no wires, it will work plug and play
