‘68 steering column wiring harness

Does anybody make them?  I'm changing steering wheels and want to fix a horn button wiring problem while I'm at it.  The wire from the ground connection has an intermittent open when turning the wheel.  I'd rather replace the 50 year old harness than just try to fix it......

It's a little spring loaded roller that makes the contact to the inner horn ring plate. Maybe you just need to clean it..

Thanks!  I'll check that out as soon as I can get the existing Grant adapter off.  Went to Harbor Frieght and bought their puller that works on a three bolt unit.  Get home and it only has two 1/4-28 bolts.  Welcome to my life....

I seem to remember a recent post on the new turn signal assemblies. They no longer have a roller wheel on the horn contact, just a stud now. If you can get your original cleaned up and working that may be your best option.

You are much better off cleaning up or fixing your original unit Bob. They ran out of NOS units about five years ago. And most
of the new repop units are flat not a good roller as said, so they are not that good, and don't last that long. The last units I
bought from YO last year, had a roller type, but don't think they had very many, I will check there site again, the problem
is, people don't show pictures often anymore.

Thanks guys!  I got the Grant wheel adapter off and found the problem.  The wheel seems to turn freely and looks good.  However the copper disc that contacts the wheel had worn through to the fiberboard disc on about half of it.  I've got a new one coming Friday from Amazon.......
