I can't post a pic unless I'm replying to somebody  

I was going nuts myself... just realized you have to hit REPLY at the bottom of the page to get the file download box, you can not use the "Quick Reply" box...

If you preview your post from the "Quick Reply" you can add a picture.

Once you select your picture, then hit upload to insert it into the post full size.

Yeah, The Quick reply does not have a Attachement Option. And the insert image option at top wants a URL Address  

I know it's subtle but "insert" is not the same as "attach". The buttons at the top are to "insert" something into the text of your reply. Hence, a link (URL) is required. "Attach" uploads a file to the server and displays it after the text in the post.

Well I've got Attachments and other options.. "add files"... "upload"... "insert".
