Being a Charger Board, most answers are going to be jaded towards the Charger.. I have owned plenty of 2nd generation Chargers over the last nearly 40 years, still do... A few years ago, I sold a clone Daytona and bought a real Challenger T/A.... Great car.. Loved the six pack, 4speed, the sound, the overall look...... BUT !! After a while, the novelty of a cool E-body wore off.. It was a rattle can... Just could get over the lower stance and feel driving it ( albeit, a 4speed T/A is great )...... I eventually sold it to get my Superbird project...

I personally would not give up the '69 Charger R/T SE 4-speed for a 383 Cuda. ............

I am a B Body & an E Body guy. Having owned both. I would never trade a Charger for an E Body. For me I had to have both. LOL. After having my Charger for so many years I just went off and bought my Challenger later on.

I agree but started with a Challenger, it's just a bug under your skin till you scratch it.  I see E-bodys as cool and Chargers as badass, not sure if that will make sense to anyone else.   As far as this trade, I would say your better off with keeping the Charger 440 (especially 4 speed) vs. 383 and e-bodies tend to be more cyclical in value.
