Wow   :o those floors are worse that the ones we found in the car my son was given by the neighbor.

At least we had a chance of catching a toe or heal when dropping our feet.   :smilielol:

It is a shame to see cars reach that state, but also not unexpected.  It would be nice saved, and guess maybe that is what we will see.  :popcrn:
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Really sad to see Mopes like this!

I know a guy who bought a Satellite back in the 70's drove it for many years, then parked her up to get ready for a respray etc., and then twenty five years go by.
Looks about the same as this car and that was parked on a concrete driveway...

S++T happens, Folks have the best intentions, but rust never sleeps...

It it wasn't for rust, there would a lot of cars in the WORLD!!! :smilielol:

Lol...it will be cloned to the VIN.....then sold to some unsuspecting buyer as the real deal! Just like lots of various HEMI engined and other rare Mopars have been I would suspect (with their current owners having no clue). To easy and temping to do when you are not selling to an expert and the prices are as stratospheric as they are now!

You'd be surprised at the number of collecter's collections (expert or not/GG or other self ordained expert approved) that have no clue that 1 or more of their portfolio assets is a clone/rebody, often if they find out, the vehicle is whisked off to auction or sold privately

And all too often after finding out the vehicle is not of "pedigree", they're often just as guilty passing it off to the next buyer with sealed lips, I've witnessed in person a few "transactions" like this over the decades, it's a facet of the hobby that will always be there...

Personally, I don't care if a vehicle is of pedigree, cloned, re-VINed, rebodied/etc/etc, as long as the build/restoration/originality is of quality, what is desired is present, and the price is in accordance to what I WANT to pay, who cares...

The VIN is what one is buying, some good parts come along with it for the replacement body...  ;)
