4 speed hump in 71

Guys, I'm working on replacing driver's side floor pans, front & back. Also installing 4 speed hump. First Mopar resto, have a question re: the torsion bar crossmember...

On the section where the hump is, does the torsion bar crossmember get sealed up, or is it left open from the top from the factory?

I believe there are two different four speed humps for the '71 b bodies.

I had posted this on the B-bodies Only forum too, someone answered over there, thought I'd post it here as well since you were also wanting to know:

If the shifter is aft of the crossmember (bucket seats), the floor was left over the crossmember. Basically, two holes are cut (fore and aft of the crossmember), floor panel material is left to "box" the top of the crossmember. Sealed? With seam sealer? No.

Yes, it looks like one for buckets and one for bench/buddy seat setups.
