jack spray colors

Well I finally got a bumper jack for my car and now plan to blast and paint it.  I do not have the spray equipment so I will be using spray cans.  Yes, let the haters complain.  Regardless, does anyone know what are the closest colors I can use?  Exact name or can/color number??  I have Napa, Autozone and Advance Auto Parts around here.  Thanks

I used grey primer for the mechanism & base....cleared over that.  For the post I used silver hammered metal finish if I remember correctly (made by Hammerite (sp?)

Thank You !  I will look for that finish.  I think the base is just a chassis black.  There is enough left on my base to compare.

Most 68-70 Chargers base was the same primer grey.  I have seen other B Body non Charger bases black...

I'm sure these were exceptions though

Mine is blue...and that is how is staying..lol. I fully understand the perfection you are trying to achieve......but any other sections of the wider community might think we were actually mad discussing the correct colour to paint a jack. I don't think I would ever have the patience for that level of "correctness"....hence my resto mod..... but I'm glad you guys have. Good luck..and carry on.
