The new wheels and tires just showed up yesterday from Summit.  I have been torn for months on what to get.  Part of me wanted the modern look with the larger wheels, but another part still liked the old school look.  So after the last show I was at, Spring Fling, and seeing that candy red 68 Charger, I was sold.  There are pictures of it in the Spring Fling thread, towards the end, it was beautiful.

Ended up with 15x10 magnums in back and 15x7 in the front.  Take a look at how meaty these back tires are  :yesnod:

Those look pretty friggin' nice!
When do you bolt 'em on? :icon_smile_cool:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That's the widest magnum I've ever seen. You'll have to stand and look at them straight on to see the spokes on the wheel? What size are those tires?

They should be bolted on in about a month, the top one is dirty from a trial fit and they looked just right.   The rear tires are 295/50/15's and from the trial fit seem to fill out the wheel well just right.

What backspace are the rear ones and how tight is the clearance?

The rear wheels are 5" on the backspacing.  As far as clearance,  they looked like they fit well, inch to two inches off the outside of the springs and there was enough room to run your hand up and around the inside of the wheel well.  There is no room back there to spare, that is for sure.   Here is a pic of the rear mounted.

Very nice! I'm jealous. I'm always going back and forth between 15X8s with 275s and 15X10s with 295s for the back. I like the idea of putting the P295/50R15 on the back and the P245/60R15 on the front because they are only .1 of an inch different in diameter so the revolutions per mile are about the same.

Looks awesome......same setup working just fine.  I went 15 x 8 fronts instead of the 7's.

That looks like my Candy apple red Charger

Indeed it does, there were quite a few nice Chargers at that show, but that one stood out for me.  The whole combiantion was nice, paint, drivetrain, rims and interior.  You got yourself a keeper there MikeD  :yesnod:!
