Not great.   Not bad.    If you can walk away even or close to it without losing your shirt,  I'll call it a win.

So it doesnt have the luggage rack it was supposed to come from the factory with?? I would say it is worth about half as much as the others then....joking of course. I was surprised the write up on the car spent so much time discussing a luggage rack, but ok.

The White car has a lot number of 1441 ( or close to that)  I don't think there is any way they have made it through 1400 cars since Monday.  Usually a 1400 number is a Friday car.

maybe I misunderstood then, because someone said it sold for $135k in an above post

That was an old sale. This car has been to auction three times in the past three years.

I could have been half asleep, but did this car sell at 90K or so last night?

I thought that was a pretty decent deal. Nice car although it was behind the velvet ropes (which I hate but after seeing the people walking through BJ I understand).

Wow.. 92K seems awfully soft for that car.  Maybe I'll just keep letting mine sit under a cover...

Yea, I think the market has gone south for the Aero cars lately....most all of those that crossed the block that I saw went for less money than I would have guessed

JB400

I don't know. They had a brown Hemi 500 that went for $135k.

moparchris

I went back and read the descriptions for both cars and it was very clear in the Brown 500's description that it still had the born-with drivetrain whereas the White car that was never mentioned.  Perhaps the drivetrain situation accounted for the difference in prices.
Other than that they would really be pretty equal cars, with more buyers probably preferring White over Brown. :Twocents:

Highwaystar

This car reminds me of the white 500 from the F.A.S.T series that was for sale a few years ago that was a rebody, but this car does say in the Ad above that it's original motor and tranny, so I'm not sure why it went so cheap. Maybe too many Aero cars went thru the auctions lately, and run out of buyers.

I agree, I could see the pedigree collector finding that a strike against the white 500.  White as a color has come around, but I still think for some collectors and older crowd... it is not that desirable, not that a bronze/brown would be either I suppose.

Quite honestly, although the A4 with blue interior 500 is one of my very favorites but never seen in person, I think this white with black hemi car with non numbers is my very favorite of all 500s.  Maybe he would trade for my old driver wouldn't that be a funny long shot.  That W1 with black combo is great for me and hemi to boot..

Lots of really rare cars out there but there are some cars like the 42 or whatever hemi convertibles Ebody's and some selected others that will be destined for the rarest of the rare.  At my ripe older age, I could see a presentable original paint W1 318 SE with red interior and sunroof 69 Charger (made up car) clearly a one of one will never be worth that much, but sure would be neat.  Many ...many really rare cars including some hemis just are not a convertible Ebody Hemi.  The 500s have finally started to come around, but I wonder some days if the average buyer of a 69 would just rather have an RT (not sure why 500s are great...).  The super stock Darts are interesting to watch value on as a comparison for me.
