68 fenders on a 1969

I have a nice pair of 68 fenders on my 69 project  is there any issues using them other than the sidemarker lights  , I can have the 68 holes filled and 69 markers welded in pretty quickly.
Grille placement?
hood bumper area?

Not sure which way it goes but on 68 there is a little corner on the rad support that sticks out and holds the hood bump stop and on the 69 it is on the fender not the rad support or the other way around
You could end up having the two parts in the same spot or have neither
If you already have them on the car I am thinking you have neither ?
