   Why bother doing all that work on a V-6 powered version? Needs the V-8!

.....because fuel is $6.50 a gallon here that's why! Was nearly $9 a while back. Gas engines over 3 litres are quite rare here and V8s rarer still....just millions of sub two litre diesels everywhere you look! Lol! That's why my everyday driver is a Mercedes CLK200 K...a supercharged 1.8 that returns about 33 mpg...even with my lead foot! Can't do diesels...apart from 4x4s like my Grand Cherokee where diesel torque rules.
