Does anyone have a picture of a 2nd gen with 16" 5 spoke wheels?

Specifically something similar to Torq Thrusts or possibly Cragars?

Thanks!

See if you can find pics of DKN's red 68. He has/had 16" 5 spokes on it.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Just a heads up, the tire selection for 16 inch wheels is garbage. There are not a lot of good options left anymore.

Not trying to crap on your choice of wheels, but if you're thinking of buying a set, I'd check out the tires available before purchasing wheels to confirm your happy with the options.

The Fast and Furious Charger #4 had either 16 or 17" Torque Thrusts. There are plenty of pictures of those cars out there. Good luck.

I'd agree with this. 16" wheels are a smaller blip on the automotive timeline than 15" or 17". Even the diversity of 17" choices  is shrinking.  I always suggest finding a popular OEM size that was offered on thousands of similar cars and fits your car and then sticking with that. Tire manufacturers are more inclined to produce a size that was installed  on umpteen thousands of  Mustangs and Camaros than a custom boutique size only offered by the aftermarket.

Actually no.  IIRC they skipped directly from 15s in the first movie to 18-20s on the later movies.

The first couple of movies were different crews.  The current crew started at #3 and has done them all since.  When they got the chance to bring the Charger back in #4 they made a point of updating a lot of the details for the 21st century.  It looked dated in F&F#1 because it was supposed to be a decades-old build in the storyline.

Yep.  17s are the new 15s.  It's too bad because I really like how 16" wheels look on old muscle cars.

A bunch of Mustangs & Camaros did come with 16" wheels in the era from 1980s-2000s.  It's way too many cars for the tire companies to totally ignore.  Maybe find a tire size from that bunch.
