Disc Brakes 68 Charger

My 68 Charger came with some disc brakes that I am not sure are going to work.  I have the spindles and everything on the car just to roll.  The lower control arms that are on the car have a ball joint that actually presses into the control arm as opposed to the assembly bolting to the spindle.  My '68 torsion bars are too small to work in the lower control arm socket.  Does anyone know what kind of mopar these disc brakes and lower control arms may be off of?  Maybe 73 or so Charger?

A picture says more than a thousand words.  ;)

I will take a picture and post in the next couple of days.  I thought the lower ball joint on a B body actually bolted to the spindle and the threaded end went up through the lower control arm.  This lower control arm has the ball joint pressed in.

You are right on your theory.

Here is a picture of the disc brakes, lower control arm/spindle in question.  There currently are no torsion bars in the car.  They were too small to fit in the control arm. Do these look familiar to anyone?

Do you have the info still for the previous owner, maybe they know what was done.

I have no clue what that lower control arm comes off of. :scratchchin:

That LCA looks like it's been spliced in half to add the later-style ball joint.

That looks like a control arm from a 1973 and up B body.  How it is even bolted in to the K member would be interesting to see.
