In his Description he sez $20k :scratchchin: :shruggy:

"Over $20k invested in all new metal (professionally hung quarters, trunk, trunk drops, tail panel, rear "

hemi-hampton

Looks like a crappy Earl Schieb job. :eek2: :puke: :scared:

cbrestorations

he welded the corners to the outside of the valance and quarter panel instead of the flange being inside, piece of sheetmetal crudely welded to the trunk lock support, didnt even spot weld anything, just tacked the outer flange. what a hack...this pisses me off saying he did a professional job

It sure looks like it to me. Also it looks like they missed doing about 2/3 of the welds needed to the rear frame rails on the trunk floor.

yea, looks like there might be 8 spot welds per frame rail when its supposed to be every 2"

hemi-hampton

In my opinion, anybody that bought it would have to undue the mess & then redoe it right, making it cost you twice the amount he paid for the garbage Earl Scheib work the first time. LEON.

P.S. Desription said the metal work was professionally done :smilielol:

Sketchy metal work, but if it really sold for 12k thats better than most project cars ive seen on the e bag as of late. Considering an r/t and color. :yesnod:

there seems to be some other stuff going on with the tag too ! that would lead to thinking a repop tag ! , ( although ! could be my eyes & or what i'm seeing through the computer screen)  :scratchchin: it has the St, Louis  inspection stamps etc  :scratchchin: :shruggy: :popcrn:     may be  the tag was stamped out Friday afternoon  :P

Charger_Fan

You know the cars in some older movies where they hit a big bump & all the body panels fall off? Those welds look like this car was made to do that.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
