I did a search and found a thread pertaining to bringing a car from US to canada , how about the other way around....?....what do i need?....

YOU WOULD NEED TO HAVE THE TITLE OR COPY OF IT AT THE BORDER 36 HRS BEFORE YOU COULD CROSS WITH THE CAR I BELIEVE IT IS. THEN YOU GET NAILED  :'( ON THE TAXES ONCE YOU CROSS!!

there is no duty tax...that much i do know....because the car is 21 years or older.....but im trying to figure out what the experiences are from others.....

I brought a car in from BC to WA state. They didn't even question us at the border(I understood later thye should have). The car was on a trailer. You will have to have the car inspected by US customs. Then any state inspections. Then I had to pay WA state sales tax on it just like any other purchase. I needed to show paper work to customs. I had the BC equilent to a title/registration and a bill of sale. They were happy with that. They wanted to see all the VINs on the car, to make sure the car and none of it's parts were stolen.
