Hey folks. I just converted my '73 Charger from 340 to 440 and am having a couple clutch linkage alignment issues. I'm 99% sure the clutch forks are the same, but are the z-bars different between small block and big block?

If so, is this the one I need? http://www.brewersperformance.com/proddetail.asp?prod=TS913

Wow, nice to see Brewer's site actually works now.  I am almost 100% positive that the A (340) engine versus the B or RB (440) Torque Shaft (Z-bar) and clutch forks are different.

I believe that you would need the proper Big Block Z-bar for your year of Charger.  It appears the one in your link will work, but the bell-housing you are using might play a factor.

Also here is Mancini's site listing different clutch forks between A and B engines.  I believe that the small block fork is longer than a big block fork.

At any rate Brewer's performance (937-698-4259 or http://www.brewersperformance.com/) and probably Passon among other parts suppliers can help you out.  I have had good experience myself with Brewer's.  I'd czech with them before throwing down money on parts.  Good luck
