Aluminum Radiator Blackout.

I am a *big fan* of blackout treatment for the supports.  But what about aluminum radiators?  Are the radiators in 68's set far enough inboard to forgo painting the exposed area - or would the natural aluminum be glaringly obvious?  Admittedly, I have a pretty low tolerance for that.  Also, if helpful, any straight-on grill pics of 68's with unpainted aluminum radiators would be appreciated.

Thanks, and apologies if this has already been addressed.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Glaringly obvious.

:iagree:  You can see it from quite a distance.

Here is mine with a bare aluminum rad.  You can see the difference with the stock black rad in my Cuda  I would be interested to know what paint you guys are using on an aluminum rad to black it out.

In your picture it isn't that bad. Outside in the sunlight it's more obvious.

I used the paint by Eastwood.   Worked out really well!

That's what I used as well. Not sure if it really matters but I only painted the front of the radiator looking back on it I wish that I had painted the top and the fan shroud as well. Oh well, I'll take care of that next time I drain everything for whatever reason.

Thanks guys!

Yes, thanks!  Does anyone have a strong preference between the gloss or satin?

Have it anodized black, the radiator shop here will do it..
