Picked up a project car,...and yes it's a MOPAR

I always thought the 70-71 Plymouth Fury's were neat; and maybe I'm the only one who see's it but to me they "kinda-sorta-almost" have a Charger look to the front of them (when they have hideaway headlights at least).

So when I found this 1970 Fury Sport Coupe for sale on the local Craigslist, I knew I had to have it.  It's a fairly solid car, no major rot that I can see, probably just needs some patches on the lower fenders and quarters, seems like a good project car.  If it were a Charger of the same year, it'd be worth $10K plus, but I picked her up for under a thousand, lol.

It's missing the drivetrain (318 automatic), oh well, I'll find something neat to put in it, my buddy runs a junkyard down the road and he has an early 70's Chrysler Newyorker with a 440, I think it'd be cool to throw that with a 4 speed in it.  Or maybe something totally radical, like a 6 speed Cummins Turbo Diesel.  We'll see, this is gonna be a long term project car as my 70 Charger will take precedent.

Very cool. The time I spent with 71 Fury daily driver was well spent. Have fun.
