Do these even belong on a 70?

These seem to have no purpose on my 70 as the belt up there is also male.

No. They are 68-69. I confess, I had to look on my pictures of my 70. I have not driven it yet.

Then what holds the belt up there at the head liner?

I will have to take pictures of mine. There is just a clip to keep the belt up with the headliner, it was a PIA set-up..

Thanks...i figured they didnt belong. There are two smaller deals up there that the belt slips behind, holding it up there.

I have the right ones on my car also....just like in Tan Tops pictures. Not sure why the PO put the 68/69 things on with the visors.

Now I have some 1970 Charger parts that I didn't realize I had.

Not sure I like a belt setting in two clips. That mite hurt if it hits u in face lol maybe I'll go with 69 belts in my 70. I think they gave more thought you n 69. It looks better hooked to some thing.

I hear ya Chris, but on the 70 it is the small side of the belt up there, not the big chunky buckle....which could bust your face open.

I will go with Aftermarket 3 point belts, that system sucked, you could strap in a 5 point faster..
