That is a unique mix of options! I bet the power windows & bucket seats are what bumped this one into the 500 class, over a XH base model. I also think this is the first "3 on the tree" charger I've seen.
It would be a real trip getting used to shifting.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

So cool. Is that a tiny 19'' radiator I see?

You won't see a 26 inch Radiator in a 318 car unless it has A/C or Police Pursuit. LEON.

manual brakes and manual steering also.....strange car, but very nice

"D12" and "XP29" on the same tag. It's just ...... so wrong.

What an oddball. I love it.

I am not surprised.  Most of the 1970 Chargers with the three on the tree manual were /6s.  104 base model Charger /6s were made vs. 82 V8 Charger 500s and at least 2 known base model V8 Chargers that year.  Most of the V8 versions were likely converted to a different transmission setup by latter owners who wanted a floor shifted Charger, which makes finding an original one even harder to do...

I had heard rumors of a column shifted manual 1970 Charger RT 440 six pack car (a white one) existing, but have yet to lay eyes on it (and likely never will).  What it might be is a 318 version (with D12) that had a 440 engine transplant done and then cloned into an RT....

Now THAT would be odd! No speed shifting in that one, for sure.
