Would it be beneficial to say replace the stock rods with titanium rods?  Since I plan to take apart the heads my friend suggested (if money is there) to upgrade the stock rockers to 1.6 setup and upgrade the roads to a stronger material. 

any benefit????

"roads", "rods" and "titanium" has me confused. Could you explain some more please? Are we talking about titanium valve spring retainers?

I believe Smith Brothers makes titanium pushrods for Mopars, that's likely what he is referring to.
Chargers are cool but rockets rule......

Smith Brothers are GREAT Mopar folks with great products.  Yes to the titanium (as well as chromoly and aluminum).

Contact them for the benefits of titanium, they are experts and were generous with their time and advice when we needed assistance.

From their catalog, page 12:
     "Tube diameters are as follows: 5/16 • 3/8 • 7/16 • 1/2 • 9/16 • 5/8 in 4130 Chromoly.
      Your open spring pressure determines what wall thickness is required.
      5/16 and 3/8 2024 T-3 aluminum and 3/8 x.042 titanium are also available."

Hard to imagine any situation where going from stock anything to titanium anything is the logical choice.

500" NA, Eddy head, pump gas, exhaust manifold with 2 1/2 exhaust with tailpipes
4150 lbs with driver, 3.23 gear, stock converter
11.68 @ 120.2 mph

I have the stock rockers/rods setup right now they are, 'forged' I will have to double check again once I have it all taken apart. 

since im breaking into the top end see if I can upgrade the valve train also...

Please refer to them as pushrods.  There are these other things in the motor called rods.

No pushrods are forged, and only the early Max Wedge motors had iron rockers that might have been forged.
