On the rare occasion you saw one of those back-in-the-day, they just looked odd.

Now,,,, they really do look cool.

A brick...on wheels.
However, it would be fun to cruise around in. :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

TruckDriver

They want a ungodly amount of money though. Holy crap!  :rotz:

You MIGHT get that if it was a pre-1980 Peterbilt. I'm thinking it's worth more like $7k on the high end.

Where do you get NOS parts to restore something like that?

TruckDriver

Most cases you can't. Especially for a old Dodge unless you get very lucky

With that truck finding NOS parts wouldn't be very important as most of the stuff on that truck would be common things among the trucking world. The engine and drive train would be the same as other brand trucks of that era.  Same with brakes and so forth.  The cab would be the only important part. Some of the shiny stuff on it might be hard to locate but it appears to be all there and some of those parts were shared with the smaller Dodge trucks.  It looks like its a fine truck to restore and use as a hobby truck but way over priced.  2500$-3000$ truck in my opinion and that may be high since its a day cab single axle.

Petty has one of those sitting out back of the old race shop.

It looks better with a sleeper on it. :2thumbs:
