I took the time to look through the new book by Steve Lehto "Dodge Daytona & Plymouth Superbird" this afternoon. I have to say I was very impressed with most of the book. I recommend picking it up, there is something for everyone and many stories and pictures I have never seen or heard of until today. The Ray Nichols EPA Superbird article was very interesting and had tons of pictures to go along with the story. It is worth the $30.00 I paid at my local Barnes & Noble bookstore. I won't babble on about it but highly recommend adding it to your collection!

Steve covered some things that were only lightly touched on in Supercars 20 years ago.   Many new unpublished racing photographs are in the book.

  Good read.

Keeps things in perspective: The only reason wing cars exist was to race.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Needed wins on the big tracks that got more exposure, though...   :Twocents:

Chapter 4 is dedicated to the Charger 500 history (26 pages) and many articles and pictures that I haven't seen printed anywhere with that much detail. This is a must have for any Aero Car enthusiast. Supercars only touched the tip of the iceberg when telling the story of these incredible cars. Like odcics2 said earlier in this post....these cars were made for the sole purpose of racing, and Wining! I was looking through this book again last night and was amazed at stories and pictures that I had never heard of before opening this book.....a MUST have for any wing car enthusiast. There is something for everyone in this book, C500, Daytona, Superbird.......Stories and pictures for every Mopar Aero car ever made.

Got it today from Amazon. I excitedly and randomly opened it up, and saw this photo of the "famous" Tic-Toc-Tach. Oops.... I'll try to let the publisher know....

I finished it today.  I haven't learned that much about wing cars since I sat down and talked with Danny or Gene for any length of time
