I am going to be purchasing a decent size order of sheetmetal for a 69' (all AMD). I am going to need typical items like quarters fenders trunk pan etc. What has been the best way to purchase this metal? I am played around on eBay, AMD, Jegs, etc..Just waned input from people that have already dealt with this.

BTW, I was able to confirm this was the first car I have ever owned, sold, and 15 years later was able to buy back in the same city.

i cant help you much on ordering AMD, but i think its way cool that you are able to buy back your first car. and that its a 69. :2thumbs:

Use a dealer that is close to you... Dixieresto was offering a discount this week in the classifieds.

I just bought almost 10K Cdn worth of AMD metal... and we did it through National Moparts (instead of going direct) as Nigel was at least 10% cheaper considering exchange. Best part, included in the price the shipping is his end.. not ours! We just have to drive over and pick it up.

Try 521 restorations.   You'll probably have to leave a message or email him because he works a daytime job.  He had the best prices that I've found.  Tell him hello from Mitch.
I think all the vendors drop ship most items from AMD and don't stock most stuff so little advantage to any of them on shipping.

Edit: Patronus beat me to it.

Thanks again, I am reaching out to many vendors. It is going to require a lot of time, metal, and patience.

When I met Jeff he had 4 very nice Mopars. All done himself.
I like to do business with someone that works with the very products they sell.

Another vote for 521 Restorations. Jeff has been great to work with and his prices are great. Some things might not be on his website, but just let him know the part number from AMD's website and he can get it as long as it isn't back ordered.
