A buddy of mine has a 73 Charger and is looking to swap in a big block. The question we have is what is different between 71-72 K members and 73-74 K members? As I understand it 66-72 had three different K members slant 6, V-8 and HEMI. Then 73 rolls around and we have big block and small block k-members.  :shruggy:

70 sublime

I have a K member out of a 73 V8 car that I sand blasted and was going to swap into a /6 car but never got around to it
73 and 74 sit on big rubber doughnuts where 71 72 just bolt solid up to the bottom of the car

You can see the big round hole in the end of the frame

Thanks for the reply!

Could you just bolt up a 71-72 K member into the 73 car if the only difference is the rubber isolators?
