Very nice car. Yes I remember seeing this one before.

Let's just say that I was the buyer and I was showing up to pick up the car (having already paid for it) with a flat head screw driver, pair of wire cutters and a hammer. I would then in the presence of the newly previous owner, unscrew that extra large hose clamp around the steering column securing the tachometer that's the size of a compact disc then proceed to take my wire cutters and cut the tach wires with the GM insulator around it. Then take the removed tach and spike it like a football to the pavement far enough away from the car to risk no damage. Then finish it off with my hammer, kick it to the curb and drive off in the Charger.

myk

Seen that too.  That car will make a 3rd Gen fan out of anyone...

Bronzedodge

Nice car, love the color.  Yes, the tach needs to go.  Although it is a Sun maybe, some of them were good.  I'd keep it for another project.
Mopar forever!

ACUDANUT

It has rust bubbles under the vinyl, on the rear drivers side.  IMO, the color sucks and so does a full vinyl roof.  :Twocents:

Ya, I dig it. And I'd probably do the same, but perhaps with slightly less dramatic effect.  :Twocents:

That's a beautiful Charger. :drool5:
When the new owner wonders where the mystery rattle is coming from, he needs to look here...

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Funny, I was looking at that pic and thinking "won't that rattle?"

South Pointe Dodge. Now there's a name I hadn't heard in a long time. I'm about 15 mins from Lincoln Park, Mi.
