I was driving home today listening to sports talk radio and they were talking about Super Bowl MVP winners in the past and they brought up Chuck Howley who won it in 1971 as part of the losing team.

The host went on to say that he got a trophy, along with a new car, a Dodge Charger but was quoted to say it was too much of a hot rod, not the type of car he would drive so he gave it away or something.

Anyone have any details on the car?

for '70's MVP it was a R/T SE Challenger & that's Mamma Leone's in the background .....

QuoteWhat, you thought I was talking about this year's Super Bowl? No, I'm talking about Len Dawson, the MVP of Super Bowl IV, who took his Kansas City Chiefs to a 23-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings and, for his efforts, won a new 1970 Dodge Challenger. Liz Schmitt dug this 40-year-old treasure out of the Kansas City Star's photographic archives for us. Thanks, Liz!
