440 engine rebuild thread??

Done a quick search but cant seem to find what I'm looking for. Can anyone post a link to a thread showing the full strip down and rebuild/recon of the 440 lump.....ideally a picture thread. Thanks in advance if you can help.

What ? You mean just to take it apart and put it back together ?
Good "general" information in the books, but it's not what they DO tell you in them.... rather what they DO NOT that you need to be careful and filter through.
Invariably some machining will probably be involved ?
And of course,
parts selection is absolutely critical !
Get back on here to verify parts selection, YES... even for a "stock" rebuild, BEFORE you buy anything, and do NOT trust some counter guy or Machinist to select your parts for you unless YOU verify the parts first.
Educate yourself therein.

Piston selection when rebuilding is especially critical, because with "stock" Pistons the books LIE !
